FOR SALE 2005 Ernie BALL MUSIC MAN AXIS
This is not a D’Avanzo guitar (obviously) but one from my personal collection that’s up for sale, a 2005 Ernie Ball Music Man Axis in trans orange that weighs 7lb 10oz.
For a 20 year old guitar it’s very clean, but not flawless. It has a few very small marks here and there, mostly on the back thankfully and one fairly long scratch on the back. I took pictures of any I felt were notable but there may be some other superficial marks here and there that I missed or were so small I couldn’t get them to show up in the photos due to all the reflections from the black paint. I used the macro mode on my phone to make them really show up, in person most of them are actually less noticeable since they’re so small.
Those are reflections of clouds on the back of the body shots, not any type of flaw in the black paint. I took the pictures outside to try and avoid distracting reflections and the clouds in the sky still showed up.
It has no fret wear and no cracks on the back of the neck where the locking nut mounts. It does have the typical super small, super fine finish only, not wood, cracks near the neck pocket. I also used the macro lens on my phone to capture those pics which like the other marks makes them look more noticeable than in real life since they’re hyper zoomed in.
